Activist and educator Rachel Cargle is prompting healing and opportunity for communities of color


Rachel Cargle is a writer, lecturer, and educator, best known for her anti-racism work. She was chosen as the 2020-2021 celebrity ConversationaLIST honoree for the Education category to celebrate his exceptional work as an activist and creator. 


Rachel is the founder & president of The Loveland Foundation, an organization committed to bringing opportunity and healing to communities of color, especially to Black women and girls. Rachel’s activism and academic work focuses on providing intellectual discourse, tools, and resources that explore the intersection of race and womanhood. Additionally, she has presented her public lecture Unpacking White Feminism at Universities across the country and through TEDx. She uses social media to showcase her work to over 1.8M Instagram followers and has brought discussions about race to the forefront for young people everywhere.
